- Who holds your password and 2FA?You should always be able to log in and change access yourself.
- Where do your payouts go?Directly to your own account is the safest setup.
- What does leaving cost?Check for setup fees, exit fees and the notice period.
- Who owns your content?Make sure it can't be claimed, resold or held back.
- How will you see results?Ask how often you get a written report, and what's in it.
- Are your boundaries written down?Limits that only exist in a conversation are easy to cross.

- Pay-per-view: paid content sent in a private message.
- LTV
- Lifetime value: how much a fan spends over the whole time they follow you.
- ARPPU
- Average revenue per paying user: what one paying fan brings in on average.
- Retention
- How long subscribers stay before they cancel.
- Churn
- The share of subscribers who leave in a given period.
- Conversion rate
- The share of visitors who take the next step, such as subscribing.
- 2FA
- Two-factor authentication: a second login check, usually a code on your phone.
- DMCA takedown
- A formal request to remove content that was shared without permission.
- Watermarking
- A hidden or visible mark on files, so leaks can be traced.
- Voice profile
- A written guide to how you write: personality, words you use, and limits.
- Green, yellow and red lists
